He grew up in Vietnam, where gelato was virtually inexistent, he tastes his first gelato at the age of 27 and he was astonished: vibrant, refreshing and smooth. When he shared his discovery with his fianceè, he found out that it was her childhood dream to open a gelato parlour. This is the moment when their journey began.
Having an unrelated scientific background (Software Engineering) and having no connection to this world, he collected anything he could from online blogs, YouTube videos, books and research documents. His philosophy's remained unchanged since the beginning: playful taste as a child but textually advanced as a scientist. The couple's first gelateria in Ho Chi Minh city - Leng Keng Space - was 100% online and quickly gained love
from people who discovered it.
Since 2021 his solo journey ended when he became an official Brand Ambassador for Iceteam1927 in Vietnam. This gave him the opportunity to be in a group of the best Gelato chefs of the world to share ideas and learn from.
