Jeonghye Kwon worked in the art industry for many years and later decided changed her career to ‘food’.
Being an enthusiastic foodie, she fell in love with gelato and started her own business in 2017: ‘Zenzero’ which means ‘ginger’ in Italian.
She pursues a brand that resembles ginger, a spice that has strong characters but harmonises with other ingredients as well. They consistently study to reach a new standard of gelato in their city, they do this by farming their own ingredients, creating original flavours based on gastronomy and collaborating with other iconic brands.
Many chefs from overseas, when they have the chance to stay in Seoul, visit their small shop to taste unique flavours.
Zenzero was recently nominated as 100 taste of Seoul.
