
With about 18 years of experience, after learning the trade from his father, he dedicated himself to personal training through courses and competitions, which over time contributed to his professional growth.
Among the most important awards he has won in various competitions are:
- In 2015, he won first, second, and third place at the Gelato Festival in Riccione, earning access to the final for the best gelato maker in Europe, where he placed 3rd in the technical jury. The flavor he presented was "46th km" (Avola almond and Modica chocolate).
- In 2017, he made it to the podium in the under-30 category at the Gelato Golden Cup in Longarone with a cow ricotta-flavored gelato.
- In 2019, in Rome, he placed 2nd among 100 participants in the excellence category for pistachio gelato.
- In 2023, he secured 3rd place in the first edition of the Tiramisù World Cup, presenting a mascarpone, nettle, and limoncello gelato with an almond crumble smoked with coffee.
In 2019, he decided to leave the family business to create his own brand, and in 2021, he opened his first gelateria. By 2024, he had four locations under his name.
Today, his vision of gelato making has evolved: his goal is to have a clear identity, both in the product and in the brand image, always offering innovative and recognizable ideas.
One of his strengths is the selection of raw ingredients, starting with fresh mountain milk (currently using milk from Fattoria Monte Bebbio) and including top-quality ingredients such as Sicilian dragon fruit, Langhe hazelnuts, pistachios processed by small Sicilian producers, Reggio Calabria mango, and Toritto almonds.
His ideas take shape in the "off-menu" selections, exclusive offerings for customers.
The brand is continuously growing and stands out for its range of protein, ketogenic, and innovative gelato. Additionally, special attention is given to the creation of attractive packaging and labels to give the gelateria a contemporary image. One example is the gelato for dogs, called "DOGO-GODO".
