Born in Athens in 1980, he started his professional career in the pastry and gelato world in 2000 at the innovative company AVGERIS TSITSAS in Piraeus. At the age of 21, he was assigned the first demonstrations of raw materials for pastry and ice cream as well as the presentation of the Cattabriga gelato machines to potential clients of the company. In 2005, he opened together with his wife their own ice cream and pastry shop in Halandri, Attica with a production workshop in open view. Its name is “Duree du Gout”. Since then, the company has grown offering products of high requirements. In 2017 it was awarded for the prize for "Total Experience" - Total Experience in all its services. In 2021 Ioannis was awarded the first prize to the International "Masters of Pastry" competition. Today, his company employs 30 people and continues to aim high in both products and services.
